E Type hire now available in London

Great Escape Classic Car Hire has added a sixth Jaguar E Type to its hire fleet.  The new car is a 1969 Series 2 E type convertible in British Racing Green and is available to hire from Islington, London.

The latest addition extends Great Escape's London classic car hire fleet to include classic cars by Aston Martin, Bristol and Bentley as well as Jaguar.  The London site is part of Great Escape's growing Owner Operated Network, which involves classic car enthusiasts making their cars available to customers through Great Escape.  These sites are managed to the same standard and operate to the same procedures as Great Escape's large own managed sites in Devon, Cotswolds and Yorkshire.

The new Jaguar E Type convertible for hire in London is fitted with the classic straight six 4.2 litre Jaguar engine matched to a manual gearbox.  The car has recently been extensively refurbished, including a full suspension rebuild.  It is available to hire by the day, weekend or week.  Every hire day includes 24 hours use, 200 miles allowance per day and comprehensive hire insurance.  Full UK breakdown cover is also included at no cost.  Book during December and you can save 10% on the hire price.

"Travel costs keep on rising so we are working to bring our cars closer to our customers," explains Graham Eason of Great Escape.  "Previously our customers in the south east had to travel to the Midlands to hire an E Type, now they can do this from our central London location.

"We have 9 hire sites across the country, and we are adding new sites and cars all the time."

Every Type of E Type

There's a reason why the Jaguar E Type is regularly voted the most beautiful car in the world.  And it's the same reason why it is consistently our most popular hire car.  It's brilliant.

With Christmas fast approach our phone is getting busy.  And so often the conversation starts "I see you've got E Types for hire..."

50 years after it first rolled off the production line the Jaguar E Type still makes you catch your breath.  From any angle it is beautiful, a sculpted wonder straight from the designer's pen.  It came from an era before the legislation forced bulbous, amorphous cars on us.

The great thing about the E Type is that it is not just stylish, it is great to drive too.  Which explains why at Great Escape Classic Car Hire we have invested in the largest choice of Jaguar E Types to hire in the UK.  We have 5 E Types available to hire from our sites in Devon, Cotswolds and Yorkshire.  They cover the full range of E Type models from early Series 1 to final Series 3.  We offer the choice of coupes or convertibles and 4.2 litre straight 6 engines or glorious V12 power.

The Great Escape Jaguar E Types can be hired by the day, weekend or week and are ideal for celebrating a birthday, they make a great Christmas present or as a wedding car (we have two white convertibles that are ideal for weddings).  Every hire day includes 24 hours use, 200 miles per day allowance and comprehensive insurance.

Right now we are offering 10% off the hire of all E Types before Christmas.  You can choose to book a date - any time in the next 12 months or buy a gift voucher and then choose the date.  All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months.

New Jaguar E Type coupe to hire in Yorkshire

Great Escape Classic Car Hire has added a second Jaguar E Type to its growing classic car hire fleet in Yorkshire.  The new car, which complements the existing Harrogate-based E Type convertible for hire, is a 1965 Series 1 4.2 litre coupe with the highly desirable 'cowl headlamp' design and slim rear lights.

The new Jaguar E Type for hire in Yorkshire from Great Escape is finished in Sage Green metallic paintwork with a tan leather interior.  The car is fitted with a manual fully synchromesh gearbox rather than the earlier and more awkward 'Moss box.'  It is available to hire by the day, weekend or week and is ideal for a day or weekend away or a self drive wedding car.

Great Escape has the largest fleet of classic cars to hire in Yorkshire from its base just outside Harrogate.  The fleet includes classic cars by Jaguar, Jensen, MG, Morris, Porsche and Triumph.  The site is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and also within easy reach of the Yorkshire Moors and coastline.

The latest addition gives Great Escape customers the largest choice of E Type Jaguars to hire in the UK.  The choice includes Series 1, 2 or 3 cars, straight six or V12 power and coupe or convertible body styles.  So whatever your preference, Great Escape has a car for you.

"The E Type is one of our most popular classic cars to hire," explains Graham Eason of Great Escape.  "We wanted to add a Series 1 coupe to give more choice to customers, and also satisfy demand for hire of these cars from our Yorkshire site.

You can hire the new Great Escape Jaguar E Type from less than £240 for 24 hours with our 15% online discount.  Or call  01527 893733 and book by phone and save 10%.  To find out more call http://www.greatescapecars.co.uk or call  01527 893733
